The university has research work related to impacts on urban society and has several sustainability projects. It was found that the results of the study had a beneficial effect on driving the economy, society, and community of each area. There are research issues in many areas of study, such as energy conservation, cultural heritage, and academic services under various research projects, etc.

Developing tourism in cultural landscape of Songkhla old town has a research team who drives the project with integrated science.
