11.4.9 Buildings on brownfield sites Year: 2023

Each Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya campus is surrounded by natural resources, including the sea, mountains, and important agricultural areas of the city. This gives the university guidelines for area development and construction of new buildings within the original area. Utilization of space for such activities, such as a new school building being built to replace it In the location of the original school building. For example, this includes the Faculty of Engineering classroom building that was built in the Faculty’s former area. Which used to be the area of a school building, workshop of the civil works department. and construction department, etc.

Universities need to be proactive towards more sustainable transportation and housing.
