The project for providing training on the management of Tanee banana rope weaving is a collaborative effort involving Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, the Social Welfare Division, Tambon Tha Chamoung Municipality, and the Department of Community Development in Songkhla Province. The training will take place from the 6th to the 8th of January 2022 at the Southern Intellectual Development Center, located in Tha Chamoung Subdistrict, Rattaphum District, Songkhla Province.

The main aim of the project is to enhance the product development skills of a group of housewives, economically disadvantaged people, and individuals with disabilities, with the intention of generating income for the community. This initiative will benefit both non-formal and informal education and will promote community-based education.

Moreover, the project will concentrate on developing efficient management practices to achieve tangible outcomes while also encouraging lifelong learning among the local population. The project is guided by the belief in self-sustainable economics, which furnishes a framework for prosperous execution. It will also provide continuous training to further enhance expertise and foster ongoing skill development.
