The adoption of ethical sourcing, encompassing both fair trade and ethical trade practices, is gaining prominence within the realm of food retail. In pursuit of excellence, RUTS demonstrate unwavering dedication towards the ethical sourcing development, both within our organization and outsourced services. We advocate for in-house food production and distribution at fair prices (evidence 1). Moreover, We endorses outsourcing the production of high-quality, affordable food (evidence 2). Evidence I: The Faculty of Agriculture, RUTS has a mission in agricultural product manufacturing for food consumption. Therefore, we are able to support agricultural production aimed at delivering high-quality, affordable food to people. Chicken eggs serve as an exemplary product with a well-received reputation and high demand. Our project, We support the distribution of chicken eggs in quantities exceeding 12,000 units, at prices lower than those found in supermarkets, with a discount of no less than 5-10%, provided to consumers on a monthly basis.

Evidence II: ethical trade practices within the organization, we prioritize quality and accessibility for students and staffs. The supporting factors in the production of affordable food, it results in high-quality and reasonably priced food available for sale within RUTS. We place a strong emphasis on providing knowledge of ethical trade practices to food entrepreneurs in all areas of the university. Hence, the prices for food available within RUTS are lower by 10-30% compared to the market.
