The adoption of ethical sourcing, encompassing both fair trade and ethical trade practices, is gaining prominence within the realm of food retail. In pursuit of excellence, RUTS demonstrate unwavering dedication towards the ethical sourcing development, both within our organization and outsourced services. We advocate for in-house food production and distribution at fair prices (evidence 1). Moreover, We endorses outsourcing the production of high-quality, affordable food (evidence 2).
Evidence II: ethical trade practices within the organization, we prioritize quality and accessibility for students and staffs. The supporting factors in the production of affordable food, it results in high-quality and reasonably priced food available for sale within RUTS. We place a strong emphasis on providing knowledge of ethical trade practices to food entrepreneurs in all areas of the university. Hence, the prices for food available within RUTS are lower by 10-30% compared to the market.
