The Songkhla Province Intellectually Disabled Parents Club established a center to produce environmentally friendly disposable diapers and pads in the community. Especially, the target group who are poor in order to increase their quality of life and reduce waste in the area from the use of materials that are difficult to decompose, as well as create jobs, create careers for people in the area, and create income for the community and promote care and self-reliance by the community for a strong community in the future.

By Ajarn Arena Isama, a professor from the Faculty of Architecture Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya has provided training on how to produce disposable diapers that meet the needs of the target group. The benefits are for the elderly and people with disabilities who use the innovative removable and washable Pampers for better health and can reduce problems from waste or dirt which leaves a bad odor on the mattress to make it cleaner and more hygienic.

For this reason, it results in the elderly and disabled people having a brighter appearance and better mental state, which clearly shows results for the elderly and disabled people who use the innovative removable and washable Pampers. At the same time, families or caregivers of the elderly and people with disabilities reduce stress and anxiety for the elderly, as well as making cleaning more convenient.

In the future, the target group will be expanded to receive removable and washable Pampers for poor elderly and disabled people, elderly families and bedridden disabled people which can help reduce expenses for purchasing diapers by no less than 2,000 baht per month.
