Public Learning Initiatives in Universities consists of two main parts Accessible Online Learning Resources and  Physical Learning Resources

1. Accessible Online Learning Resources:

Universities have launched programs to enhance the workforce in the coastal tourism industry. This includes training to improve skills (Reskill, Upskill, and New Skill) through premium courses on the RUTS MOOC Platform. The theoretical foundation is provided through modules for short-term competency-based courses. Practical training takes place at three centers:

1) Southern Border Center at the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology.

2) Gulf of Thailand Center at the College of Industrial Technology and Management.

3) Andaman Center at College of Hospitality and Tourism.

The focus is on developing personnel tailored to the industry’s needs, creating technology and innovation aligned with the country’s goals. These initiatives facilitate the transfer of technologies and innovations to add value to industries, produce highly skilled graduates to meet industry demands, and upskill and reskill the workforce. This effort also nurtures new entrepreneurs with a focus on technology, particularly benefiting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

2. Physical Learning Resources
