Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya actively supporting SDG 1.4.3 – Anti-Poverty: Programs for Service Access. Our university has undertaken an initiative to uplift the economy and society at the grassroots level in the Ban Ha community of Bang Klam District, Songkhla Province, with the aim of addressing local poverty challenges.
This initiative involves practical training on “Biomass Technology Production,” which is geared towards transferring environmentally sustainable technologies to the local residents of Ban Ha. The training is designed to be participatory, enabling community members to:
- Utilize alternative and renewable energy sources.
- Reduce organic waste.
- Minimize pollution.
- Foster community innovation.
- Build a technology development network.
- Address waste and litter concerns.
Through this program, we are committed to contributing to the Sustainable Development Goal 1.4.3 by improving access to essential services and empowering the community to overcome poverty and environmental challenges at the local level.
