On May 12, 2022, the Office of Innovation and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya organized the “Cultural Capital Mobilization Initiative to Promote the Creative Economy of Songkhla Province.” The event was honored by Ms. Suriyaporn at Songkhla, the Deputy Governor of Songkhla Province, who served as the guest of honor for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
The purpose of this event was to create a collaborative mechanism and promote the strengthening of the cultural heritage in Songkhla Province. It aimed to foster cooperation and community engagement in cultural preservation, knowledge enhancement, and cultural interaction between generations. This was all based on the rich cultural heritage of the region, with the goal of strengthening the local economy and society through cultural entrepreneurship. Activities during the event included the sale of cultural products, demonstrations, and the production of cultural products, cultural performances by local artists, fashion shows featuring cultural attire, and academic discussions at the Red Pavilion (Hup Ho Hin).
