On 10 November 2022, Associate Professor Dr. Chutinuch Sujarit and her research team develop pepper for medical uses. Pepper, specifically black pepper, has various potential health benefits for especially women. While it may not have gender-specific effects, its properties can be particularly relevant to women’s health in several ways: Such as digestive health, pepper is known to stimulate digestive enzymes, promoting better digestion. This benefit can be essential for women who often experience digestive discomfort, such as bloating and indigestion, which can be common during menstruation or pregnancy. Also weight management, some studies suggest that the consumption of black pepper may help with weight management. Maintaining a healthy weight is important for overall health, and it’s often a concern for many individuals, including women.

Furthermore, specific health concerns should be addressed with the guidance of healthcare professionals. Pepper, as part of a balanced diet, can contribute to women’s overall health and well-being, but it should not replace other essential aspects of a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise, a varied diet, and adequate medical care as needed.
