RUTS Project to Knowledge Dissemination on Sustainable Integrated Smart Agriculture Innovation, Waste and Material Management Policy for the NRCT, Bangkok Province

Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, are actively engaged in promoting SDG 1.4.4, which pertains to “Policy Addressing Poverty.” This involves active participation in policymaking at various levels, be it local, regional, national, or even global, with the ultimate goal of implementing comprehensive programs and policies to eradicate poverty in all its dimensions.

            This research and innovation report aims to study environmental system problems in the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and Songkhla Lake Basin Communities, Songkhla Province. To solve the problems of the community refuse and waste materials by using research results and innovation. Also, to transfer knowledge of intelligent agriculture innovations in the community with sensor systems and IoT technology. Furthermore, to develop and design integrated smart agriculture innovations by applying sensor technology, microclimate system, and energy from solar cells. Moreover, to create a learning base for Smart Agriculture Innovation 4.0. Lastly, to raise the level of the BCG Model learning innovation in the digital era by using automatic irrigation and bio-fertilizer system using IoT, ordered through a Home Assistant. Integrated innovations have been developed to produce 4 formulas of compost. Therefore, developing agricultural innovation projects aims to increase the potential of organic farming in the community. Create for landscapes NRCT. Solve environmental system problems, NRCT and communities, maintain a sustainable ecosystem balance.             This innovative policy is multifaceted, addressing critical aspects such as energy sustainability and the sustainable management of organic waste in the Mae Thom community by adopting renewable energy sources and implementing effective waste management strategies, the policy aims to empower the community economically and environmentally, thereby contributing to the broader objectives of SDG 1.4.4.
