The University aims to provide equal opportunities for disadvantaged students in two main aspects: Providing Accommodation for Students Without Housing: The University ensures that students without accommodation are provided with suitable housing facilities, allowing them to focus on their studies without concerns about living arrangements.
Financial Support for Economically Challenged Students: The University offers financial aid and scholarships to economically disadvantaged students, enabling them to pursue their education without financial barriers.
Additionally, the university organizes educational activities to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens, fostering continuous learning and personal development.
1. Providing Accommodation for Students Without Housing
1) Providing permanent accommodation for students without housing, the Faculty of Agriculture has prepared permanent housing within the faculty’s farm. Students have the opportunity to gain practical experience on the farm, similar to real-life farmers.
2) Providing accommodation for students with limited budget for renting external housing, the College of Hotel Management and Tourism arranges permanent residence within the university’s student dormitories in Trang.
2. Providing financial assistance to students in need.
1. Providing scholarship loans for financially disadvantaged students. The university supports students who meet the criteria with 3,845 scholarships in the first semester and 3,729 scholarships in the second semester.
2. Scholarships for financially disadvantaged students, provided by 56 funding sources, with 275 students receiving scholarships.
