The activity involved the utilization of a laboratory, which was organized for a group of 30 farmers specializing in durian cultivation. These farmers are from the Dusit Sub-district, Thung Phra Non-District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The purpose of this activity was to provide practical training on the mass production of Trichoderma and fresh Beauveria fungi. These beneficial microorganisms are used for pest control in agriculture. As a result, the farmers gained knowledge and hands-on experience in producing and applying live fungi to effectively manage plant pests. A total of 50 bags of these fungi were produced. This activity was conducted on January 25, 2022, at the Plant Pathology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Prince of Songkhla University, Thung Yai District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. It signifies the university’s commitment to assisting local farmers in improving their agricultural knowledge and practices, ultimately contributing to efficient agricultural production.
