In 2023, RUTS collaborates with University in Singapore as Nanyang Polytechnic International, Singapore to focus on how universities can collaborate and review action to build best practice to relate to SDG 1 to 17. For instance, during 5-9 June 2023, Asst. Prof. Dr Kwanhatai Jaipiem, Vice President participates the opening ceremony for Capacity Building and Capability Development Programme of Transforming Educational Institution into I4.0 & Smart Nation Ready at Nanyang Polytechnic International (NYPi), Singapore. The opening ceremony is hosted by and welcome by Dr Henry Heng, the CEO of Nanyang Polytechnic and team. Duration of the programme is for a 5-day period and Thirty two of RUTS top-management participants participates the programme. The programme focuses on the Singapore Skill development framework, Sustainable development for TVET Institutes, Developing I&E Spirit of students, SIT Project Engagement, Industry 4.0, Digital transformation, Learning journey: SIT CITI, Marina Barrage URA Gallery, Sanwa Intec, Marker Space and School of Engineering and Centre of Excellence for Industry 4.0. Conclusion, this program is the opportunity for RUTS Top-Management to adjust the curriculum framework with concept of factory teaching , design and improve the Unique curriculum called “Premium course”, train for RUTS lecturers as collaboration with enterprises, create co-working space for students as well as learning ecosystem and the Centre of excellence and innovation in Agriculture and Natural resources.
In addition, on June 9th ,2023, Prof. Dr Suwat Tanyaros, the President, Asst.Prof. Sutep Cookli, Vice President, and Mrs. Saritorn Madman, Director of Personal Administration Division, RUTS and Dr Henry Heng, the CEO of Nanyang Polytechnic International, Singapore, presides over the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between RUTS and NYPi for Partnership for the Goals.
