Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya together with the Alumni Association, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Songkhla Province, the Songkhla Provincial Administrative Organization, the Songkhla Municipality, the Hat Yai Municipality, the Singhanakhon Municipality, and the Sports Authority of Thailand to organize the “Songkhla Marathon 2023.” This event took place from August 26 to 27, 2023, at Chalatat Beach
The marathon aimed to promote and publicize tourism in Songkhla Province, raise public awareness about health, and make Songkhla well-known in the field of sports. The event attracted around 7,000 Thai runners and over 400 international participants. Additionally, students from the university volunteered to assist with the marathon and also participated in the fun run.
