Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, in collaboration with local healthcare facilities, organized an HPV vaccination campaign to enhance immunity in female students and provide adequate protection against cervical cancer. The initiative aims to reduce the incidence of illness and mortality related to cervical cancer among Thai women. A total of 339 students from all campuses participated in the vaccination, which took place on December 13, 2023, at nearby healthcare facilities.

Additionally, the university provides free condoms to help prevent sexually transmitted infections and unwanted pregnancies among students. These services are available daily during working hours at the university’s health clinic, where students and staff can also receive information and counseling on preventing sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies.

At the health clinic, students and staff can access comprehensive information and counseling services focused on sexual health education, prevention of STIs, and family planning. Trained health professionals are available to provide guidance on safe practices, addressing any concerns related to sexual health, and promoting responsible decision-making. Through these initiatives, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya is fostering a healthier campus environment and empowering students to make informed choices about their health and well-being.
