On January 10, 2023, the Research and Development Institute, led by Associate Professor Dr. Chutinut Sujarit, Deputy Director of Academic and Technology Transfer, organized the second session of the project “Developing Research Problems with Entrepreneurs to Enhance Competitiveness.” The event was inaugurated by Assistant Professor Somkid Chaiphet, Vice President of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus, who welcomed the speakers at the Fortune 7 Conference Room, Grand Fortune Hotel, Mueang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

In this project, Associate Professor Dr. Chutinik Sujarit delivered a lecture on “Research Strategies and the Role of Tier 2 Universities” and participated in addressing local challenges to identify research questions, leading to the analysis of pain points. This session was facilitated by Asst. Prof. Suthikan Kaewkhongbun, Deputy Dean for Academic and Research of the Faculty of Management Technology, and featured guest speakers from Nakhon Si Thammarat representing various stakeholders and beneficiaries. Participants included Ms. Pitchsinee Tasniyom from the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Ms. Araya Sarakun from Honda Srinakorn Co., Ltd., Ms. Saranya Poomphruek from Thawatchai Cocoa Garden in Tha Sala, Ms. Priyawann Meenoon from N & N Nature Rich Co., Ltd., and Mr. Watchara Piriya-Phatthana from Coffee Grapher. The event also featured group workshops to brainstorm research topics aligned with local context and national objectives, attracting a large number of interested researchers.

On January 22-24, 2023 The Research and Development Institute of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, led by Assistant Professor Prapasri Srichai, Director of the Institute, and Associate Professor Dr. Chutinut Sujarit, Deputy Director of Academic and Technology Transfer, along with support staff, participated in the “Research and Development Institute Networking Project of Rajamangala University of Technology.” Held from January 22 to 24, 2023, at Lake Heaven Resort Park, Si Sawat District, Kanchanaburi Province, the event was opened by Associate Professor Dr. Kritchanom Phumkittipit, Vice President of RMUTT, who delivered a keynote on “Driving Research for the RMUT Network of 9 Universities.” The event also featured Associate Professor Dr. Peeradet Thong-ampai, Director of the Brain Bank Institute, who shared insights on “Perspectives from Experience in Developing Systems, Mechanisms, Research Management, and Success-Oriented Goals.” In addition, there were discussions on perspectives and directions for research development from the directors of research institutes across all 9 Rajamangala University of Technology campuses, followed by a “Create, Team, Work” team-building activity to strengthen partnerships in advancing network-driven research.
