In 2023, housing Loan Project for Government Personnel was designed to support civil servants, government officials, university employees, state enterprise staff, and other eligible government employees who wish to secure housing loans without deposit requirements. This initiative provides an opportunity for applicants to benefit from zero appraisal fees for collateral, with costs ranging from 1,900 to 3,100 baht. The primary objectives of the loan project include the purchase of land with buildings, such as single-family homes, duplexes, townhouses, commercial buildings, and apartments. Additionally, it facilitates the construction of new buildings or the acquisition of land for this purpose, and it allows borrowers to redeem existing mortgages from other financial institutions, whether on land with buildings or on vacant lots intended for new construction.

Furthermore, the loan program offers flexibility by enabling borrowers to extend or renovate their properties, repay existing housing debts, and acquire necessary living equipment or facilities. Life insurance premiums for mortgage protection (MRTA) can also be financed as part of the primary loan request. The interest rates for the loan are structured to provide significant savings over time, starting at MRR – 3.65% for the first year and gradually decreasing to MRR – 1.00% in the sixth year and beyond. This comprehensive support aims to enhance the living conditions and stability of government personnel and their families.
