On July 10, 2023, an important Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Thung Song Municipality and Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat campus, to enhance educational cooperation with a focus on city development based on biodiversity conservation. Prof. Dr. Somkid Chaipetch, the Deputy Rector of the Nakhon Si Thammarat campus, representing the university.
