On July 10, 2023, an important Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Thung Song Municipality and Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat campus, to enhance educational cooperation with a focus on city development based on biodiversity conservation. The signing ceremony took place in the meeting room of the Thung Song Municipality, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Somkid Chaipetch, the Deputy Rector of the Nakhon Si Thammarat campus, representing the university. The Mayor of Thung Song Municipality also attended as a representative of his organization, highlighting the significance of this collaboration for the local community.
