The research team in the project on the safe cultivation and processing technology of sea grapes (Causetrapa lentilifera) aimed at creating alternative employment opportunities for coastal communities in Trang province organized a hands-on workshop. The training focused on processing sea grape products, including sea grape chips, rehydrated dried sea grapes, and ready-to-eat sea grape products. Members of the Ban Lhoom Tan Seaweed Farming Group and the Sri Trang Lions Club expressed great interest in participating in the training, which took place at the Ban Lhoom Tan Community Enterprise in Palian District, Trang Province. The knowledge shared by the researchers with the farmers has undergone thorough research and development, leading to practical implementation by the farmers in the area. This has resulted in the sustainable production of food raw materials.
