Water management is crucial in addressing climate change. Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) has developed and installed equipment to monitor and manage water resources in collaboration with local agencies. For instance, RUTS has installed 10-inch pipe flow rate sensors in mountain water supply projects, enabling communities to efficiently and sustainably manage their water resources. This infrastructure has enhanced local water management, making it more effective in handling climate fluctuations.
The installation of flow rate sensors allows community leaders to monitor water flow and optimize water usage, helping prevent shortages and improper water use. Additionally, this technology supports flood and drought forecasting, enabling communities to prepare and adapt swiftly to changing conditions.
