On October 19, 2023, Professor Dr. Suwat Tanyaros, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), participated in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the “Mental Health Support Network Project: Advancing Towards Quality Thais.” This agreement was established between the nine Rajamangala Universities of Technology under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation and the Department of Mental Health under the Ministry of Public Health. The MOU aims to drive mental health support initiatives for students across all nine Rajamangala universities and to integrate collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Public Health and Rajamangala universities to promote mental health care and continuous monitoring for students and staff.

In line with this MOU, the President assigned Assistant Professor Piya Prasongchan, Vice President, along with staff from the Student Development Division, in collaboration with Mental Health Center 12 and Songkhla Rajanagarindra Psychiatric Hospital, to organize a Biofeedback screening and mental health consultation activity for university staff, administrators, and students before the final exams. A total of 89 participants attended this event, including 64 staff members and 25 students including the staff and students with disabilities. The activity aimed to efficiently screen and support the mental well-being of university personnel and students, fulfilling the objectives of the MOU. This event took place at the Office of the President Building, RUTS Songkhla Campus.
