The project “Volunteer Teachers for Community Development” took place at Wat Laem Po School in Ko Yo Sub-district, Mueang District, Songkhla Province, on March 10, 2023. The objective of the project was to integrate teaching practices in the Teacher Training course, focusing on encouraging students to design teaching activities that connect with real learning needs and challenges in the school. The project also aimed to instill a sense of social responsibility in students through activities that develop the school environment. It involved imparting engineering and technology skills to the students of Wat Laem Po School. Additionally, the project provided opportunities for students to learn project planning and systematic group work, enhancing their teaching skills and fostering a sense of public spirit. A total of 29 students participated in the project.
The project for developing life skills and improving the educational standards of teachers and students at Border Patrol Police Schools was organized by the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya on August 28-29, 2023, at the Border Patrol Police School in Sadao District, Songkhla Province. The aim was to enhance educational quality and develop the professional potential of teachers by emphasizing hands-on practice, skill training, and enriching the experiences of students from the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology. It also aimed to promote public-mindedness among students and enable them to integrate their subjects into schools, communities, and society. Additionally, the project focused on developing necessary teaching skills for instructors at the Border Patrol Police Schools, integrating the curriculum of professional teacher education. Three programs participated in the project, including Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mass Communication Technology. Activities were divided into four stations: 1) Building teacher leadership for change, 2) Creative media learning for technical teachers, 3) Basic electrical knowledge, and 4) Technical teachers providing academic services to society. The program included training activities to develop teaching skills and basic technical skills.
