From the research project on enhancing production and marketing standards of beef cattle in Likhor for commercial competition, led by Assoc. Prof. Somkid Chaiphech as the project head for the fiscal year 2023, supported by the National Research Office, the research results were disseminated to provide vocational training for the public. This was done through a practical training program on meat product processing for teachers and students from the Non-Formal Education (NFE) in Krungyan Sub-district, Thung Yai District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The event was organized by the Agro-industry Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus on August 7-8, 2023, led by Asst. Prof. Narongchai Chupoon and Asst. Prof. Dr. Saovanee Chaiphech. The objective was to create income and job opportunities for the community. The training included knowledge transfer and demonstrations of food processing, such as hamburgers, German sausages, sun-dried beef, and beef skewers.

The Faculty of Veterinary Science Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya organized the “Youth Volunteer” project for the fiscal year 2023 on August 24, 2023. The project received funding from the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Office of the Permanent Secretary (OPS) as part of the “Development of Beef Cattle Production and Health Management” initiative, which is integrated with the curriculum. In this project, Dr. Niramol Thongtem, Miss Supiya choojai, Dr. Sunisa Khongthong, and ten veterinary students participated in providing health check-ups for beef cattle. Activities included diagnostic examinations and laboratory testing, as well as administering medications for disease prevention and treatment on a farm with 22 cattle. This was conducted at the community enterprise group of beef cattle raisers in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
