Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya is dedicated to promoting gender equality across its academic programs. A prime example of this commitment is the Marine Engineering program within the Faculty of Engineering, which actively encourages female enrollment alongside male students.
The curriculum is designed to be inclusive, featuring a range of courses that address both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for success in the marine engineering field. This approach not only aims to equip all students with the competencies needed in a traditionally male-dominated industry but also fosters an environment where diversity is valued and supported.
Currently, there are four female students enrolled in the Marine Engineering program. Their presence is a positive step toward bridging the gender gap in engineering disciplines. The university provides various resources, including mentorship programs, workshops, and networking opportunities tailored specifically for female students, helping to ensure they have the support needed to thrive in their studies and future careers. By promoting an inclusive atmosphere, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya is not only enhancing educational outcomes but also contributing to a more balanced representation in engineering and related fields.
