Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) has established a policy for applying for government housing to provide eligible residents with convenient living arrangements. Available accommodations are announced quarterly (every three months) across various university online channels and can also be accessed on the General Affairs Division’s website. Information about available housing is shared with the offices of the deans across RUTS faculties. Interested applicants can apply by scanning a QR code and completing a Google Form to submit their housing request to streamline and simplify the application process.
The General Affairs Division of the President at the university operates under the philosophy: “Service with friendliness, exceptional atmosphere, leading to quality work.” Their vision is to “Strive to develop people and work to satisfy those we serve.” The division’s mission is to support the university’s operations effectively, ensuring objectives are met. It oversees general administration, facilities management, transportation services, security and traffic management, communications systems, audiovisual services, and other assigned responsibilities.
The residential housing for staff at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) is designed with an energy-efficient concept. The design incorporates water-absorbent areas to enhance the landscape’s ability to manage rainwater efficiently. These permeable zones help reduce runoff, promote groundwater recharge, and create a sustainable environment by managing water resources effectively on campus. This approach is integral to developing a resilient landscape that supports both ecological balance and the well-being of all university RUTS members.
The university provides shared amenities within residential areas for staff, including a laundromat, library, fitness space, and coffee shop, creating a convenient and supportive environment for daily needs. These recreational and service areas aim to enhance the well-being and quality of life for all residents, fostering a vibrant and connected campus community.
