To support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who lack necessary educational resources, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya has established a policy to provide academic support to those in need. This policy includes the provision of essential learning equipment, specifically tablets, for students to borrow for educational purposes. The conditions for borrowing this equipment are outlined as follows:
Therefore, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya has a policy to promote education by providing support students who are underprivileged and lack the necessary equipment for online learning. The university provides online learning equipment (210 tablets) available for students to borrow. To be eligible for borrowing this equipment, students must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled students who are not on leave or currently on study break.
- Do not possess a computer, tablet, or laptop.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 (For first-year students, a minimum GPA of 2.50 from the previous institution is required).
- Total family income does not exceed 200,000 Baht per year.
- Display good conduct, diligence, discipline, and moral integrity.
- Have undergone a home visit by an academic advisor and received a recommendation from the academic advisor confirming that they meet the criteria outlined in points 1 – 5.
The selection of students who will receive this assistance will be determined by the faculty/college-level committee. The results will be announced on December 13, 2565 (2022) via the website http://dsd.rmutsv.ac.th.
