Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Regulations on Educational Management and Support for Students with Disabilities
In 2023, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya implements regulations concerning educational management and support for students with disabilities B.E. 2562 (2019). These regulations govern the admission of persons with disabilities who possess legal disability identification cards, accepting them in appropriate proportions while considering the university’s readiness to provide education for disabled students. The regulations waive direct educational fees from these students, instead receiving educational subsidies for disabled students.
These regulations provide various welfare support services, including scholarships and counseling services as appropriate, ensuring these services do not become obstacles to learning. Furthermore, the regulations mandate the arrangement of accessible environments, building modifications, and learning resources to accommodate disabled students, along with providing career guidance after graduation.
For admission requirements, the university accepts persons with disabilities who have completed:
- Grade 12
- Vocational Certificate
- Higher vocational certificate or equivalent qualifications
