Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) Trang Campus has initiated an awareness campaign aimed at reducing foot traffic and vehicle usage on campus. As part of this initiative, the university is offering complimentary rickshaw services for students, staff, and visitors to promote safer commuting within the campus area. This program seeks to enhance campus safety while encouraging a more eco-friendly lifestyle among the university community.
This initiative provides an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the university’s scenic landscapes while fostering community engagement. The rickshaw tours will depart daily at 4:00 PM, with female students boarding at the Si Trang 2 Female Dormitory and male students at the Minakorn 2 Male Dormitory.
This program is designed not only to introduce students to the university’s beautiful surroundings but also to promote social interaction among peers. By encouraging exploration and connection, the university aims to cultivate a sense of belonging and community among first-year students, thereby enriching their overall educational experience.
The impact of this initiative extends beyond convenience; it addresses safety concerns related to pedestrian traffic and contributes to reducing vehicle emissions, supporting Sustainable Development.
