In the Smart Agriculture program, the faculty of Agriculture organized a training event on the use of drones for agriculture, supporting the “One District, One Digital” initiative, titled “Drone Community Heart,” under the Office of Digital Economy Promotion, Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, on September 24, 2024. Participants included students from the Faculty of Agriculture and representatives from external agencies, such as Nakhon Si Thammarat Agricultural and Technology College and Surat Thani Vocational College. This event aimed to promote the use of drone technology in agriculture, as well as related technologies for planting and crop maintenance. It also provided training in drone operation and maintenance skills, focusing on modern agricultural innovation to develop future professionals. Additionally, participants in the training can apply the knowledge gained to cultivate and care for plants, promoting the sustainability of food sources.
