The researchers from RUTS have been actively engaged in researching and developing innovations for the production of community products. This work is part of a project focused on enhancing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), driven by innovation to elevate the potential of new business models. The initiative has received funding support from the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, highlighting the commitment to fostering local entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth. Through this project, the researchers aim to empower communities by providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in a competitive market. Examples of Research and Innovations include a quail egg sizing machine using image processing technology, an alternative energy drying cabinet for premium pepper production, and a boiled egg peeling machine. These innovations are practical solutions that local entrepreneurs can readily adopt, empowering them to enhance their production processes and competitiveness in the market.
