Open House 2023
Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya organized an Open House exhibition, assigning each faculty to showcase their programs. The objective was to present information about courses and teaching methods to promote awareness among interested students and parents who wish to enroll in the university.
Thung Yai Agricultural Fair 2023
Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya hosted the annual Thung Yai Agricultural Fair 2023 from February 4–13 at its Thung Yai Campus in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The event aimed to encourage and support students and faculty in sharing knowledge and innovations with the community, establish an agricultural learning center that promotes eco-friendly practices, and raise awareness about the university’s programs.
The fair showcased advancements in agricultural science and innovation, with the goal of becoming a prominent annual event for the Thung Yai District, catering to the interests of local residents. The opening ceremony, held on February 7, was honored by the presence of Mr. Apinan Pueakphong, Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Various activities were featured at the fair, including knowledge-sharing sessions on agriculture, agro-industry, and animal health care; science and technology exhibitions; short training courses; and the 8th National Conference on Agricultural Science and Technology for Graduates. This year’s theme was “Agricultural Innovation for a Sustainable High-Value Economy.”
Science Week 2023
Faculty of Science and Technology Collaborates with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation to Host the 2023 National Science Week Regional Event From August 16 to 18, 2023, the Faculty of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, as well as various public and private sector partners, organized the 2023 National Science Week Regional Event at the Sai Yai campus of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, located in Thung Song District, Nakhon Si Thammarat.
The event featured a range of activities, including exhibitions on energy and environmental conservation, interactive program-specific stations, and various science and technology competitions. The aim of this event was to provide participants with an opportunity to explore scientific advancements across multiple fields, broaden their perspectives, and gain insights into the rapidly evolving world of science and technology.
Ratthaphum College Academic Week Expo, 8th Edition
On December 14, 2023, Ratthaphum College hosted the 8th Annual Academic Week Expo. The event was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Suwat Tanyaros, the President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV). Dr. Phanumas Suybangdum, the Director of Ratthaphum College, delivered the opening remarks and outlined the event’s objectives. Associate Professor Pracheep Chupan, the former President of RMUTSV, welcomed distinguished guests and attendees. The event was graced by the presence of the RMUTSV executive board, educational leaders from the Ratthaphum District, faculty members, students, and representatives from both public and private sectors.
Open House RUTS FISH TECH
Faculty of Fisheries Science and Technology Hosts Open House RUTS FISH TECH Event On December 15, 2023, the Faculty of Fisheries Science and Technology hosted the Open House RUTS FISH TECH event for Grade 11 and 12 students from Trang Rangsarit School, Nam Phut School, and Ratsadanupradit Anusorn School in Trang Province. This event was designed for students interested in pursuing studies in aquaculture, marine science, and resource and environmental management. Participants explored various programs through interactive demonstrations and engaging activities in a fun and hands-on environment. Additionally, students had the opportunity to apply for the university’s special quota admissions.
