Details: The professors, staff, and students of the university have been appointed to the highest administrative positions within the university in accordance with the Royal Decree on Rajamangala University of Technology, B.E. 2548. This decree consists of five major components working together to establish policies, supervise and manage various aspects of the university’s operations. These components include the University Council, the Academic Council, the Council of Professors and Civil Servants, the University Management Committee, and the Student Body.
On November 30, 2023, Asst. Prof. Taweesak Sriphoonga, Director of the College of Industrial Technology and Management, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Nakhon Si Thammarat Campus (Khanom Area), along with administrators, faculty, and staff, welcomed the University Council of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya. The delegation was led by Prof. Emeritus Dr. Piamsak Menasavet, Chairman of the University Council, joined by other council members and university executives, including Prof. Dr. Suwat Thanyarot, Acting President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya. This occasion marked the 233rd University Council Meeting (Session 11/2023), conducted both in person and online via Zoom Cloud Meetings, in Meeting Room 1307 on the 3rd floor of the Hotel and Training Center Building at the College of Industrial Technology and Management, Thong Nian Subdistrict, Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat.
On January 25-26, 2023, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang Campus, welcomed members of the University Council who visited the campus, viewed exhibitions, and presented outstanding works. An exhibition was held to welcome the Council members at the Trang Campus office building, led by Prof. Emeritus Dr. Piamsak Menasavet, Chairman of the University Council, along with other council members and university administrators. The event was also attended by Prof. Dr. Suwat Thanyarat, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Asst. Prof. Kosin Phattanamanee, Vice President of the Trang Campus, and other executives. They attended the 223rd University Council Meeting (Session 1/2023) via Zoom Cloud Meetings, discussing policy development plans for the Trang Campus area.
On December 14, 2023, at the Technology Conference Room, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Trang Campus, academic staff and support staff from Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Trang Campus participated in the first mobile meeting project. The meeting was led by Assoc. Prof. Piya Petsong, Chairman of the University Faculty and Staff Council, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thongchai Nittirasuwan, Vice Chairman of the Faculty and Staff Council, and Lecturer Naina Kamkansilp, along with council committee members and the working team.
This mobile meeting aimed to clarify regulations and operational guidelines in line with the university’s future direction. It provided an opportunity to listen to staff opinions and various issues, as well as suggestions for best practices that could be adapted for the university’s operations in collaboration with its personnel.
“Student Government Meeting Atmosphere”
On October 18, 2023, Professor Suwat Thanyaros, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, along with Assoc. Prof. Piya Pasongchan, Vice President, and Mrs. Daowadol Sawadilanon, Director of the Student Development Division, met with student leaders, the Student Organization, and student clubs from all faculties/colleges. The meeting took place in the Chalatath Conference Room at the Office of the President and was also held via Zoom Cloud Meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to listen to the operational guidelines of the Student Organization and student clubs, as well as to gather insights from student leaders on developing potential within their communities.
