Even though access ramp and disabled access lifts as well as parking areas are provided in buildings in all faculties at Rajamangala University of Technology to facilitate disabled people access. Similarly, digital properties such as websites must be accessible to people with disabilities to enable them to independently participate fully in all digital aspects of life.

Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya has updated its website by adding Accessibility Tools, a set of features designed to assist individuals with physical, auditory, visual, or learning challenges in accessing technology and information more easily. These tools are designed to enhance usability and inclusivity for people with disabilities as follows:

Screen Readers: Software that reads on-screen content aloud, helping individuals with visual impairments use computers and mobile devices effectively.

Grayscale: A tool that converts colored images (such as photos or color graphics) into grayscale, which is particularly helpful for individuals with visual impairments and color differentiation challenges, such as color blindness. This adjustment enhances their ability to perceive important differences in information presented in images or documents.

Light Background: design feature that uses a light-colored background on screens or documents, which reduces text confusion and makes text clearer and easier to read.

These tools are often integrated into operating systems or available as additional applications, enabling everyone to access technology equally.

Especially, on May 29, 2023, the Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology assigned Assistant Professor Authapon Kongwan, Deputy Director of Academic Resources and Information Technology, and Mr. Panuwat Noonkong to attend a seminar aimed at motivating public and private organizations to develop websites in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The event was organized by the Office of the National Digital Economy and Society Commission (ONDE) to promote digital technology development for people with disabilities and to support digital technology accessibility and usability, thereby reducing inequality and enhancing equal access to information for people with disabilities.

The award was presented by Professor Wisit Wisitsoraat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, at the Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre, Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok.
