On August 31, 2023, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, Dr. Suthikan Kaewkhongboon, along with Dr.Supatra Khamhaeng and Aj.Piyapong Senanuch, from the Faculty of Management Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, served as speakers in a workshop on offline and online sales techniques. This workshop was part of the “Thai Smiles Market” project organized by the Community Development Department, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The project aimed to establish unique identities linking tourism and to increase marketing channels for products from low-income earners, elderly individuals, agricultural goods, and high-potential OTOP (One Tambon One Product) items lacking adequate sales opportunities. Additionally, the workshop focused on developing products that align with market demands while preserving the community identity of local agricultural groups, OTOP producers, production savings groups, women’s groups, low-income occupation groups, and elderly participants. Twenty participants attended the training at the Thung Song District Community Development Office, Thung Song District Office, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

From October 25 to December 7, 2023, Dr.Worawithu Meesook from the Department of Science and Dr.Prasert Nontakan from the Department of Technology, Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, were invited to serve as consultants for developing a Mind Map and Strategy Map based on eco-cultural mapping for community development planning. This activity, titled “Creating Community Plans Using Eco-Cultural Mapping for Local Development: Session 2,” was held at the Trang Basin Water Management Center Meeting Room, Thung Song Municipality.
