The Fashion and Textile Design Program, Faculty of Architecture, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, in collaboration with local creative networks, organized the “100 Light: Fashion Show in Songkhla Old Town” under the theme “หรอยไหร: นั่งแลแฟชั่นโชว์ (Southern Delight: Sit Back and Enjoy the Show)”.
This event showcased modern fashion design inspired by the cultural identity of Songkhla Old Town, reflecting a harmonious blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Young Designers from the Fashion and Textile Design Program brought forth innovative works that combined modern aesthetics with traditional Southern motifs, promoting the value of local wisdom and environmentally conscious design.
The fashion show illuminated the charming streets of Songkhla Old Town with light, sound, and fashion performances, transforming cultural heritage into a living creative space. The event was held in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, celebrating the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty’s 90th Birthday Anniversary. It symbolized Her Majesty’s enduring contribution to Thai arts, crafts, and textile development, inspiring young designers to uphold her legacy through creativity and sustainability.
