The “100 Light: It’s All Light : Touching the Light” exhibition invited the public to experience a creative lighting installation across significant architectural landmarks of Songkhla Old Town, including the Poon Tao Kong Shrine and the Songkhla City Pillar Shrine. The exhibition highlighted the architectural and cultural values of these historical sites through artistic illumination and night-time light design, transforming them into learning spaces and creative public zones for residents and visitors alike. By combining architectural design, lighting technology, and cultural interpretation, the project celebrated the heritage of Songkhla Old Town while fostering public appreciation and participation in its preservation.

Under the leadership of Prof. Thitika Kaewsamuang from the Architecture Program, Faculty of Architecture, RMUTSV, the project successfully engaged a large number of local residents, students, and tourists. The night exhibition became a platform for community learning and cultural exchange, emphasizing the role of architecture as a bridge between art, education, and heritage.

The exhibition provided free and open public access to cultural and educational experiences at major heritage landmarks, encouraging safe and inclusive participation in community spaces during nighttime. By activating the Songkhla City Pillar Shrine and Poon Tao Kong Shrine as creative public spaces through light installations, the project enhanced the vibrancy of Songkhla Old Town and promoted civic engagement through art and architecture.

The project emphasized the significance of historic architecture and cultural shrines in Songkhla Old Town, using light art to reinterpret and celebrate their values. This initiative raised public awareness about the preservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
