On December 26, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Pornsil Seephueak from the Plant Science Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, in collaboration with the Tham Phannara District Agricultural Office and the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Agricultural Office, organized an academic service project as part of the 2024 Mobile Agricultural Fair.

The event featured activities aimed at transferring plant disease management technologies using agricultural bioproducts, including antagonistic bacteria, antagonistic fungi, and extracts from soursop (Annona muricata). The initiative encouraged farmers to reduce their reliance on chemical pesticides and adopt Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices that are both environmentally friendly and effective.

As part of the program, knowledge was shared and bioproducts were distributed to farmers for use in plant disease prevention and control. The primary goal was to promote the adoption of bioproducts to reduce plant diseases, minimize chemical pesticide use, and support the production of safe and environmentally sustainable crops. Approximately 200 participants attended and benefited from the services provided. In addition, university students actively assisted in delivering knowledge and supporting the activities throughout the event.
