The Faculty of Agriculture, RUTS, in collaboration with Benjamarachutit School, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, organized the “Agricultural Innovation and Entrepreneurship Learning Project” by Agricultural students at the Faculty of Agriculture, Saiyai Campus. The project aimed to enhance students’ skills and knowledge in agricultural technology, innovation and entrepreneurship for 118 students.
The Faculty of Agriculture and Agriculture students has developed a curriculum that goes beyond simply teaching agricultural knowledge, placing strong emphasis on developing students’ entrepreneurial skills, particularly in the fields of agriculture and agribusiness.
Through the course “Learning Beyond the Classroom”, students are trained in business planning, farm management, marketing, and agricultural innovation that can be applied in real-life situations and the professional world.
The Faculty aims for this teaching approach to serve as a key tool in nurturing a new generation of entrepreneurs who can transform their knowledge into practical agricultural businesses. Students not only learn theory but also gain hands-on experience through projects on the faculty’s farm and collaborations with entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector.
