Creative sea-indigo–dyed textile works by lecturers from the Fashion and Textile Design Program, Faculty of Architecture, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), were presented in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Srithapee, the Jai Bangchana community (Bangchana Subdistrict, Mueang District, Surat Thani Province), and Suratthani Vocational College at the opening ceremony of the “Surat Thani Buddhist Lent Boat Procession, Kathin Robe Offering, and Long-Boat Race for the Royal Trophy 2024.”

The collaboration aims to promote local livelihoods and sustainable community well-being, preserve and pass on Surat Thani’s rich cultural identity and textile traditions, and integrate cooperative efforts into teaching, learning, and cultural stewardship.
