The Cultural Enterprise Unit, under the Office of Innovation Management and Technology Transfer, RUTS, conducted a creative cultural service project in response to an invitation from Phra Khru Rattanasuttakorn, Acting Abbot of Wat Khun Chalik, to design a commemorative T-shirt for the 444th Anniversary of the temple.

The design concept draws inspiration from the temple’s distinctive architectural and sculptural elements, transforming them into a meaningful visual symbol that reflects the temple’s artistic and cultural identity. The initiative aims to promote cultural appreciation, learning, and creative tourism, encouraging the public to visit and experience the temple’s authentic art and sculpture in person. Through this collaboration, RUTS demonstrates its commitment to preserving and revitalizing local heritage while integrating design innovation and cultural storytelling to enhance community engagement and sustainable cultural tourism.

This project highlights RUTS’s mission in integrating creative design, cultural preservation, and community engagement, reflecting its role as a regional leader in cultural innovation and heritage-based development. By merging design education with local wisdom, RUTS contributes to sustainable cultural tourism and strengthening community identity through meaningful creative expression.
