Details:
Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), in collaboration with the Southern Eastern Meteorological Center, organized a research team meeting to integrate forecasted and real-time rainfall data with a hydrological model for the development of a salinity modeling system in Songkhla Lake. This initiative aims to support sustainable water resource and ecosystem management within the lake basin. The project also involves downscaling CMIP6 climate data to generate rainfall datasets reflecting short-, medium-, and long-term climate change scenarios. These data will be applied to adaptive planning for agricultural communities in the Songkhla Lake Basin, enabling farmers to better respond to climate variability and changing water salinity conditions.
