On September 17, 2024, Asst. Prof. Kittikon Khanklaew, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, together with faculty members and third-year students from the Bachelor of Engineering Program in Electrical Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), Trang Campus, conducted a study visit to Siam Cement (Thung Song) Co., Ltd. and the Solar Power Plant (Solar Farm) in Huai Yot District, Trang Province. The visit was part of the teaching and learning activities focusing on energy technology, energy conservation, renewable energy utilization, and energy efficiency in buildings and industries. It also covered electricity generation systems, economic analysis of energy performance, and environmental impact reduction. The activity aimed to provide students with practical insights from real industrial settings, allowing them to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications and gain a deeper understanding of energy systems and sustainable practices.
