Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) implements the Student Loan Fund (กยศ.) policy as part of its institutional commitment to promoting educational equality and supporting students from low-income backgrounds. The program ensures that financial constraints do not become barriers to higher education, allowing students to pursue their studies and successfully complete their degrees. Through a transparent and inclusive operational system, the university facilitates access to low-interest loans and financial assistance in alignment with national education equity policies.

This initiative directly supports SDG 1: No Poverty, specifically addressing indicators 1.3.1, 1.3.2, 1.3.3, 1.3.4, and 1.3.5. It reflects the university’s dedication to (1.3.1) setting admission goals for students from the lowest-income groups, (1.3.2) ensuring graduation success for financially disadvantaged students, (1.3.3) providing institutional support for students to complete their studies, (1.3.4) organizing programs that enable continued learning among low-income students, and (1.3.5) offering scholarships and financial grants for students from low- and middle-income countries.

Through this policy, RMUTSV demonstrates how effective governance and strategic operations can drive educational inclusivity, poverty reduction, and human capital development, in line with Thailand’s sustainable development and equitable education goals.
