The F.O.S Exhibition: Fashion Showcase 2024 presented the graduation fashion thesis works of fourth-year students from the Fashion and Textile Design Program, Faculty of Architecture, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS).
This exhibition highlighted the students’ ability to integrate art, design, and innovation to create unique, purposeful, and culturally inspired works. Each collection reflected the use of fashion and textile arts as tools for community, social, and environmental benefit, emphasizing sustainability, ethics, and local wisdom.
Through their design process, the young designers explored creative problem-solving, cultural value appreciation, and hands-on experience in real-world fashion contexts. Their works demonstrated a balance between aesthetic creativity, functional design, and social responsibility, representing the new generation of fashion designers who are ready to drive Thailand’s creative economy toward sustainability.
The F.O.S Fashion Showcase 2024 exemplifies the integration of education, art, and cultural heritage to promote sustainable creativity and community engagement. By transforming academic work into a public exhibition at Songkhla Art Gallery II, the Faculty of Architecture reinforces public access to art and design, supports cultural continuity, and empowers the next generation of designers to create with purpose and integrity-advancing the goals of Quality Education and Sustainable Cities and Communities.
