Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) has introduced initiatives to support female students who are mothers, reflecting its commitment to creating an inclusive and accommodating learning environment. The university has established dedicated spaces where mothers can comfortably breastfeed or use breast pumps in privacy. These areas are designed for convenience and comfort, enabling mothers to continue their studies while caring for their infants.
To further support them, the university provides breast pumps and refrigeration facilities for safe storage of expressed milk, ensuring freshness until it can be taken home. Additionally, special rest areas are available for pregnant students who need a place to relax.
Overall, these initiatives highlight RUTS’s dedication to fostering a supportive academic atmosphere that values the needs of student mothers, helping them balance their educational goals with the responsibilities of motherhood.
