On 4 September 2024, the Home Economics Program of the Faculty of Liberal Arts organized the event “Farewell and Gratitude Ceremony 2024” to honor Assistant Professor Pongthep Kortnet, a faculty member responsible for the Food and Nutrition program. This activity brought together both academic and support staff, along with students, in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. As part of the teaching and learning process, students in the Home Economics Program planned menus, prepared food and beverages, and provided service to all participants. Both academic and support staff of the faculty received free meals and refreshments during the event. This initiative represents a staff hunger intervention, aimed at reducing food expenses for university personnel during special occasions and promoting food security on campus. This activity is an excellent example of experiential learning. Students were able to apply their theoretical knowledge in real situations, enhancing their practical and service skills while also contributing to the well-being of staff members. It reflects the university’s commitment to addressing food security not only for students but also for staff. Target Group is academic staff and support staff of the Faculty of Liberal Arts. The event also fosters a sense of belonging, compassion, and well-being among staff members, while strengthening students’ professional competencies.
