The Fashion and Textile Design Program, Faculty of Architecture, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTSV), organized the “Fashion Thesis Exhibition 2024”, presenting the final-year students’ creative collections.

The exhibition emphasized the integration of Thai textile wisdom and local identity, particularly focusing on batik fabric design and collaboration between young designers, local entrepreneurs, and the “Batik Model Group.”
This initiative formed part of the national campaign “#FunWithThaiFabrics”, inspired by the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, and supported by the Ministry of Interior and the Department of Community Development.

The event was officially opened by Asst. Prof. Krisanapong Sangkawasee, Vice President of RUTS, and attended by faculty members, students, and members of the public who came to admire the students’ innovative and culturally inspired designs.

Held at the ASA Cloud Center in Songkhla Old Town, the exhibition served as a platform for emerging designers to connect creativity, culture, and community, promoting sustainable design and revitalizing traditional Thai textiles for modern fashion contexts.

The Fashion Thesis Exhibition 2024 embodies the values of sustainability, creativity, and cultural continuity. By merging academic design education with local craftsmanship and community participation, the Faculty of Architecture at RUTS fosters a new generation of designers who apply their creativity responsibly – contributing to both sustainable development and the revitalization of Thai textile heritage.
