Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) provides opportunities for foreign personnel to work at the university under a clear framework of rules and regulations. Employment of foreign staff follows the university’s criteria and procedures for regular positions, based on the 2016 guidelines for hiring foreign employees, ensuring that all processes comply with the law and maintain consistent standards.
Currently, the university employs three foreign staff members, each assigned to appropriate departments and faculties, particularly in the Faculty of Liberal Arts. Their presence enhances the university’s cultural diversity, knowledge, and expertise. These staff members contribute not only to teaching and research but also to curriculum development, international knowledge exchange, and global academic networking.
The recruitment of foreign personnel adheres to specific requirements, including academic qualifications, specialized expertise, work experience, and compliance with Thai labor laws. The process also involves work permit applications and verification of necessary documents, ensuring that all foreign staff can work legally and effectively in their assigned roles.
Overall, employing foreign personnel at RUTS fosters cultural and intellectual diversity, benefiting the development of students, staff, and university units. It also enhances the university’s international profile, facilitating continuous knowledge exchange and academic collaboration with institutions abroad.
