Fourth-year students from the Food Science and Technology program organized a career promotion activity for the elderly, featuring a hands-on workshop on “Herbal Drink Production.” This initiative is part of a project aimed at improving the quality of life and promoting careers for the elderly in the Takianthong Subdistrict. The workshop aims to enhance the activities of the elderly club, providing a space for seniors to engage in career development and share traditional knowledge within the community. Additionally, it promotes physical, mental, and social well-being among the elderly participants. During the event, the research team provided informative lectures and demonstrations on creating herbal drinks using various fruits and vegetables, such as dragon fruit, mango, guava, passion fruit, apple, kiwi, banana, and pineapple. Participants had the opportunity to create their herbal drinks, fostering hands-on learning and engagement.
The activity took place at the meeting room of the Takianthong Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Khanom District, Surat Thani Province.
